President’s Welcome

Welcome to the Society for Hematopathology!

The Society for Hematopathology (SH) is a dynamic organization established to stimulate exchange of information, research, and dissemination of knowledge pertaining to the biology and diagnosis of hematolymphoid disorders. The SH is a diverse community of diagnostic hematopathologists and other anatomic and clinical pathologists from a variety of practice settings, as well as physician-scientists with research interests in hematology/hematopathology.

Here at the SH website, members have access to a large and ever-growing archive of educational materials, including proceedings from prior meetings and workshops, SH Grand Rounds Webinars, reprints of the “How I Diagnose” review article series, interactive educational modules, and video tutorials on various hematopathology topics. The SH Virtual Curriculum is available for free to members and non-members alike. In particular, we are committed to help the hematopathology committee achieve fluency in using both International Consensus and WHO Classifications in their daily practice and are structuring our future educational offerings with this in mind. Follow us on social media to keep up with all of the latest activities!

We look forward to the next exciting SH/EAHP workshop to be held in Houston, Texas in November 2023 with the topic of Progress in Peripheral T- and NK-Cell Lymphomas.

Finally, if you have any suggestions or comments for the SH or would like to become more involved in our organization, please do not hesitate to reach out to our headquarters ([email protected]).

Sincerely,

Robert P Hasserjian, MD
