JOB TITLE: Seeking BC Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with BC in Hematopathology for Eastern Colorado VA Healthcare System in Aurora (Denver) CO
HEADLINE: The Eastern Colorado VA Healthcare System in Aurora (Denver) Colorado is seeking a Board Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist who is also Board Certified in Hematopathology for Non-Supervisory Medical Specialty Director within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service Line.
The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VAECHCS) in Aurora (Denver) Colorado is seeking a Board Certified (BC) Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist who is also BC in Hematopathology for Non-Supervisor Medical Director of Specialty opportunity reporting to the Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service Line. The selected Hematopathologist will join six other Pathologists in providing the full scope of diagnostic services, to include subspecialty coverage in Hematopathology. VAECHCS is academically affiliated with the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. The selected candidate is expected to participate in the teaching of pathology residents, medical students and other healthcare personnel seeking training within the field of pathology; and will also participate in multi-disciplinary conferences such as Tumor Board, CP and GI Conferences as required. The VAECHCS encompasses the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC), a 1.2 million square foot tertiary 182-bed hospital and major referral medical center and campus spread across 31 acres; and also includes a 40-bed Community Living Center in Pueblo, eight Outpatient Clinics stretching from metropolitan Denver to the southern tier of Colorado, and one Telehealth Clinic in Salida CO. Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Fridays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with Shared Call Among All Pathologists.

·Degree in Allopathic Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
·Current, active US State Medical License to practice medicine or surgery
·BC in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with Additional BC in Hematopathology

·Expected Realistic Annual Salary Range: $200,000 to $250,000 with consideration given to candidate's qualifications, credentials and experience; and may include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus, and possible Relocation Incentive (Pending Approval)
