The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an experienced Academic Hematopathologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a full-time position. The candidate must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. degree; be AP or AP/CP and hematopathology board certified; and be eligible for a Texas medical license. The candidate must have expertise in morphologic and flow cytometric diagnoses. Laboratory medical director experience is highly preferable. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience for early to mid-career opportunity. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program.
