Hematopathology Faculty Member - The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Pathology

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Pathology is seeking an academically-oriented full-time faculty member in Hematopathology to join a diverse group of 9 hematopathologists. The Hematopathology division supports the clinical and academic mission of the Medical Center, including the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, which serves patients from Arkansas and beyond and provides rich opportunities for clinical and translational research. The Division of Hematopathology faculty works closely with clinical faculty members to support active bone marrow transplant programs for a variety of hematopoietic neoplasms and support the internationally recognized UAMS Myeloma Center. UAMS has a strong affiliation with Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), and division faculty rotate to provide clinical service at ACH. Most sign-out activities are centralized in the UAMS Pathology Laboratory with first-class facilities, including flow cytometry, coagulation, molecular and cytogenetic laboratories, and well-trained technicians. UAMS faculty are strongly committed to undergraduate and graduate medical education and research. Faculty members also participate broadly in both departmental/institutional committees as well as tumor boards at both UAMS and ACH. The successful candidate should possess strong diagnostic skills with subspecialty training or experience in Hematopathology.

Candidates should have an MD/DO or equivalent and be board certified/eligible for Hematopathology. Academic rank, track, and salary will be commensurate with experience. Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Arkansas is required. Please send curriculum vitae and letter of interest to:
